Understanding Your Community – Demographics

Visit https://www12.statcan.gc.ca/census-recensement/2021/dp-pd/index-eng.cfm, type in your city name and tell us the following:

• Total Population
• Total Population under 14
• Median Age
• Average Household Income

Visit https://www.realtor.ca/, type in your church address and pick a home for sale near there.  Click on the “Neighbourhood” tab and tell us:

• The closest elementary school
• The closest high school
• The closest park

Now click on the “statistics” tab and tell us the following;

• Population size
• Median Age
• Households with children
• Households without children
• Number of households
• How many children under 14
• How many between 20-49

Search (city name)+ demographics and (city name )+ psychographics) and give us the websites of other sites in your city that can give you helpful information on who lives here.
